Streaks, daily goals, and Catch Up

3 min read

See what counts toward a writing day and how missed days are handled.

What keeps a streak alive

A day counts when your writing reaches that day’s goal. The calendar shows your progress, while Writing Stats turns those daily pages into a longer view of your practice.

Historical days stay stable

Editing or deleting an ordinary historical practice does not rewrite the word count and streak result already locked for that day. Your history remains a record of what happened then.

Catch Up

Eligible Pro writers can use Catch Up to write for a missed day. Because Catch Up is a specific Pro benefit, the completed writing can update that historical day’s locked progress.
