Unfinished thoughts need a place where they do not have to perform.
Riikee is a private writing app for journals, drafts, and ideas you are still working out. Privacy here is more than an empty page without an audience. It includes ownership, control over AI features, ways to take a copy, and clear limits on what deletion can remove.

Your writing remains yours
You retain ownership of the writing you put in Riikee. The service needs a limited license to host, process, display, back up, and transmit the content so the features you request can work. That license does not transfer authorship to Riikee.
Riikee does not sell your writing or personal information, use the text for advertising profiles, or use it to train its own AI models. The legal details and exceptions are set out in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
A writing page is not a public feed
Riikee is built around a private practice rather than an audience. The editor does not ask you to publish a draft, collect reactions, or turn a streak into a public score. You can write before you know what the page means or whether anyone else should read it.
This makes Riikee useful for journals, early drafts, and personal notes that need time. It does not make every risk disappear. Your account, device, browser, and any text you choose to export still need the same care as other private digital material.
Know where a draft is saved
A guest draft normally stays in the browser and device where you wrote it. Clearing browser data can permanently erase an unsynced guest draft or recovery copy. Sign in before leaving if you want Riikee to save the practice to your account and writing history.
Browser storage also holds preferences and local recovery information. A private draft that exists only on one device is still vulnerable to a lost device or cleared storage. Export writing that matters instead of relying on one copy.
AI works within boundaries you choose
When you deliberately use an AI writing tool, Riikee sends the instruction and the portion of writing needed for the task to its server and an AI provider. That may be selected text, nearby context, a topic, a title, or the current practice, depending on the command.
Automatic article analysis is separate and can be turned on or off in Settings → AI. Turning it off stops new background analyses, although existing results remain until the related writing or account is deleted, or the result is replaced. Read more on the writing insights page.

Take a copy when you need one
Export gives you a copy outside Riikee. Guests and Basic members can export TXT. Pro members can also export Markdown, Word, and PDF. The available formats make it easier to back up a draft or move it into the next stage of work.
An export may not reproduce every editor style or piece of metadata exactly. Open the exported file before treating it as your only copy. The editor and export guide explains where the command lives.

Deletion has an honest boundary
Deleting an ordinary current practice removes it from active writing views. When you delete a historical practice, Riikee removes its title and body but may retain limited tombstone, session, or aggregate data such as dates, deletion time, and word-count activity so earlier statistics and streaks remain stable.
Backups and provider systems may also retain deleted data for a limited period before scheduled removal. You can delete your account and may have additional access, correction, deletion, or portability rights depending on where you live. The Privacy Policy is the source for the full retention and request process.
Private does not mean risk-free
Riikee uses safeguards that include encrypted network connections, managed access controls, authentication, and trusted infrastructure providers. No online system can promise that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never happen.
Use a strong unique password, keep account recovery methods current, and export important writing regularly. If your material requires end-to-end encryption or another specific security model, use a tool that documents and independently verifies that requirement.
Questions about private writing
Do I own what I write in Riikee?
Yes. You retain ownership of your writing. Riikee receives only the limited rights needed to operate, secure, and provide the service.
Does Riikee sell my writing?
No. Riikee does not sell your writing or personal information and does not use your writing for advertising profiles.
Is my writing used to train AI models?
Riikee does not use your writing to train its own AI models. Text needed for an AI request or enabled automatic analysis may be sent to an AI provider under the terms described in the Privacy Policy.
Is a guest draft saved to my account?
No. A guest draft normally remains in that browser and device. Sign in before leaving if you want it saved to your Riikee history.
Can I export my writing?
Yes. Guests and Basic members can export TXT. Pro members can also use Markdown, Word, and PDF.
Does deleting a historical practice remove every record?
It removes the title and body, but limited tombstone data may remain so historical statistics stay stable. Backups may retain deleted data for a limited period before scheduled removal.
