A session forms around real writing
Riikee can start a Writing Session automatically while you edit a signed-in practice. You do not need to press Start for ordinary writing to count.
Active time pauses after 90 seconds without editing, so time spent away from the page is not counted as writing. A session normally ends when you leave the editor, switch practices, or finish a Focus Session. Riikee also uses a server-side fallback when a browser closes or loses its connection before sending the final update.
Review your rhythm
Open Writing Journey → Statistics to see completed sessions, Focus Sessions, active minutes, net words, averages, your longest session, and when you tend to write. Very short sessions may appear in recent activity without counting toward every achievement.
What the history can show
Session records begin from the date Riikee introduced the feature. Earlier focused writing time cannot be reconstructed from article timestamps, so historical session charts and badges start from that point.
